It's well known that an effective radar system is the ultimate force multiplier for today's armed forces. However, there can be a major disconnect between the industry and research experts developing future systems and the needs of military end-users. Since 2004, Defence IQ has been seeking to close this gap and ensure the success of future military operations, by bringing together the entire military radar community to discuss technological developments in the light of operational needs.

At Defence IQ's Military Radar 2008, military end-users, requirements officers, industry experts and leading research scientists will gather together to analyse and compare the capabilities of the world's most advanced radar systems in development and operation. Through a carefully researched programme of keynote presentations, extended workshops and operational insights, this is a unique opportunity for attendees to actually shape future military radar systems and guarantee the needs of military end-users are met.

Military Radar 2008 will be collocated with the 11th Annual European Microwave Week

european-microwave-week

For the first time ever, Defence IQ's Military Radar event will take place as an integral part of European Microwave Week, which this year takes place from the 27th - 31st October 2008 and consists of four conferences and the largest European exhibition of radar and microwave technologies.

The great news is that by registering your place at Military Radar, you'll also gain complimentary access to the 5th Annual European Radar Conference (EuRAD), which takes place straight after our event on the 30th-31st October. Plus, you'll receive an exclusive invitation to the gala welcome reception and can take advantage of the European Microwave Exhibition throughout the week.

Defence IQ is confident that access to these additional conference sessions and networking opportunities will extend your understanding of advanced radar technologies and their full spectrum of applications, ensuring mission-critical advantages in future operations.
